Getting the Cha-Ching! Part 2
Home staging, which is highlighting a home's best features to make a sale, is not only a trend, but one that has proven to be very beneficial for the seller, whether you are a real estate investor, agent, or a homeowner who is occupying the home. Home staging shortens the time the home is on the market, and often gets a higher price for the home. If your home has been on the market for a while, and the next logical step seems to be to lower the price, to sell, rethink your options. Maybe the solution for you is to have the home staged, and raise the price.
Although the time that one usually thinks of home staging is right before the home is advertised for sale, for the investor, the best time to have a consultation is before any cosmetic fixes have been done to the home. With that information you can decide on wall colors, counter options, etc. with more confidence. Kathy at Georgia Interior Solutions offers services to fit your needs. For a vacant house, they can do key room highlighting, (kitchen, baths, master bedroom, living room), or stage the entire house. There are options for consultation, and options for occupied houses.

Home staging is something that could be essential. Creative people, which most real estate investors are, find it hard to believe that the average home buyer cannot imagine the best of the home without having staging highlight it. But, it's true.
