Getting the Cha-Ching! Part 4

In my last post, "Getting the Cha-Ching Part 3, when I talk about "great copy", the link was not working properly, but is fixed now.  Please click on "great copy" here or in the above post.
The ad in the link is not one of my ads, but it is one that gives a good example of an ad that stands out from the others.  The original newspaper ad is at this link.  Notice how the newspaper ad had less detail but took the reader to more detail.  I don't completely exclude realtors, but otherwise the ideas and format is good.  I have used this with the ad originator's permission.
This is the second way to use your text and pictures.  You will have to vary your text and pictures  somewhat according to where you are posting.  I suggest to use free sites first.  Some of the best are:
     http://sfbay.craigslist.org.
It is free, and worldwide.  When you first go in, you are taken to the San Francisco site.  Just click on the state, city, province, or country you need.  Craig's list works best for lower priced homes, lease options, or rentals.  I have sold houses through this site.
     http://www.domesticsale.com/realestate
It is free, you go to the city nearest you. Also, under free stuff you can make the type of flyer to post at stores, gas stations, churches, etc.
www.seemylisting.com  (please copy and paste in browser)
You get a free listing.  Also, check out how you can get a free talking yard sign, and the features that go with it.
    http://forsalebyownercenter.com
Free ad, and in the tools section are a lot of calculators with different scenarios for the FSBO seller.
     http://www.zillow.com
This is a free national directory that a FSBO seller can list, right along side of realtor listings.  Some of the features are comparable home sale listings, and sales and tax history for the listed home.  Also, you can use the zestimate tool which gives a conservative estimate of value.  In some areas this is considerably lower than current value.
These are all free.  Can you find more?  Some of these list the ad on other free sites for you.  And the info. is sent to the major search engines.  Put your ad in as many places as you wish on the internet, and give links to other sites where you have listed.   This makes it more likely that someone will find your home listing, or even see it multiple times.  Be sure to also place the link or links in the signature section of all your emails.  People will click out of curiosity, even without you saying anything in the email about it.  You never know if they may be in market for a house, or know someone who is.
More marketing techniques will be discussed in the next post.  More uses for your pictures, open house, and social gatherings, will be detailed.
