I realize this is a very good moment for "home buyers", I actually wanted to this for quite a while but I still have some things to handle before I start. Rental houses are profitable and a good investment, there is no doubt about that.

I don't know for sure since I am not in that market. Maybe it's that the Detroit market has hit bottom. So in time it will go up. Are there any big community developments that would point to future increase in housing values? Let me know how this CNN Money prediction plays out in your area.

I see that Detroit is on this list. It's hard to believe that anything will ever really change for the better in Detroit, but it would be great if the housing values really did rise!
